Now that restrictions are easing and guidance is changing, we wanted to round up some ways for you to get outside safely in the upcoming summer season! Beer Trail
With so many different options of breweries, wineries, cideries, and distilleries, the Cumberland Valley Beer Trail will have something for everyone. View a list of locations on the beer trail here and make sure you check out our very own members that fall on the trail here. Fishing
Did you know that there are 10 great places to fish in the Cumberland Valley right in your very backyard? We have plenty of scenic streams and lakes that make this area a destination.

Biking
Love getting out and feeling that wind on your face as you cruise down the pavement? Then you should know that there are 17 different routes and loops from Shippensburg all the way to New Cumberland that you can follow in our area to get out on! Check out the different options here.
Hiking
With the Appalachian Trail paving its way directly through Central PA it gives everyone plenty of options to lace up those hiking boots and hit the trails. There is a Top 10 list here that Visit Cumberland Valley goes through but make sure that you check out the full list of information on our members’ website, PA Parks and Forests Foundation. They have publications that they put out on their “Explore Near” Flyers for main areas in Pennsylvania, click here to see them at the bottom of the web page.
Dining
Here in the Cumberland Valley, we have a wide variety of places that you can eat at and especially spots that have opened up outdoor dining if you aren’t ready just yet to eat indoors. Ice Cream Trail
Did you know that Cumberland Valley has an Ice Cream Trail? If you are like me then you love Ice Cream, Froyo, or Italian Ice. If so then the Ice Cream Trail has something for everyone, check out the awesome round-up of yummy treats that is on the list. There is even an Ice Cream Trail Passport as well that you can download here, make your way through the list this summer!
