West Shore Chamber of Commerce

A Letter From Our President

Hello again West Shore Chamber Members,

It has been a few weeks since I have last talked to you and thought that bringing you up to speed on what has been happening here at your Chamber would be a good idea.  I know that many of you are eager to resume in-person networking and events, but we also know that we have a responsibility to you, our members, our staff, and our communities to keep everyone’s health and safety as our top priority. As summer fades away and we move into fall and winter, we are always thinking of you our members. We are looking to take some of our signature events virtual, such as our Luminary Awards Luncheon and our Annual Meeting, other events are just not possible at this time (Putt it into the Park and Business & Industry Night).

As we resume in-person activities, like our successful Golf Outing in July, we commit to abide by the Administration’s regulations for gatherings. We will continue to follow the guidelines of social distancing, wearing masks, and hand sanitizing. I know that staff will always be looking to ensure that each attendee feels comfortable at our events. If you do not feel well, please stay home and take care of yourself. We will not be offended! We all need to work together to maintain safety while we reconnect in person. Some may not feel ready to get together in person, while others are happy to give you a hug because they missed seeing you.  While neither viewpoint is wrong, we must recognize each individual’s comfort level and respond appropriately.

We want to thank you for your continued support and understanding as we navigate the next several weeks and months.  We are YOUR Chamber and we are here for YOU!!  Stay safe and healthy!!
