Together we are #CentralPAStrong!
Two of our members, Konhaus Print & Marketing and Members 1st Federal Credit Union, have created the “Keep it Local” campaign. Since March, small businesses have been struggling to stay financially afloat and constantly update their offerings to stay open to the public. Small businesses are the backbone of the economy and here at the Chamber, they are also what makes up 80% of our membership. We are proud to support this initiative and show our support for our members and the community!
Konhaus and Members 1st have created this initiative to spread positivity, raise awareness, and support the incredible small businesses throughout Central PA. Here is how you can get involved:
1.Request a Yard Sign or Poster for your Business or Home
Email hello@konhaus.com to request a yard sign or poster for the outside of your business. They have a limited amount of yard signs to distribute! Both items will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. They will confirm curbside pick-up instructions at their office once they receive your email.
2. Get Social
They created 2 versions of signs for you to download, snap a selfie, and share on your social media channels!
Small Business Owners– They have and will continue highlighting small business owners who participate! Send your selfie using the proud small business owner sign and email hello@konhaus.com to be considered along with a few sentences about your business and ways for people to contact and follow your business. Don’t forget to share on your own social media accounts to create awareness for your small business!

3. Follow Along
They have exciting things planned, so make sure to follow along on social media for highlights and surprises! Be sure to post photos of the signs you see throughout the community and tag Konhaus, Member’s 1st, and your favorite small businesses! They’ll be keeping an eye on the hashtag #CentralPAStrong and will be choosing some random participants to win fun prizes!
4. Support
The most important thing to take away from this initiative is to support small businesses throughout Central PA and keep your dollars local.
In addition to posting photos with the signs, we encourage you to interact with local small businesses by checking in, writing reviews, posting pictures, and following the small businesses you frequent on social media. This will not only support these small businesses but will also increase awareness and motivate others to support local businesses. Remember, we are all #CentralPAStrong!
